ENTR’2 MARCHES 2015
6th International Festival of short movies about Handicap
from 17 th to 22nd of May 2015 in Cannes, City theater 45 Mimont street.
For the sixth consecutive year, the relay group named “Pays de Lerins” from Association for Paralyzed people in France (APF), organizes the Entr’2 Marches festival.
L’Association des Paralysés de France, with support of lots of partners, wanted to give a place of honour to people with disabilities.
In that perspective, they took benefit from the major and cultural event : Festival International du Film de Cannes, to tackle the handicap subject through cinema, by taking an interest in short movies about handicap. All handicaps are approached of course, including physical, sensorial or mental disabilities.
Entr’2 marches festival will take place in the city theater, 45 Mimont street in Cannes, (kindly offered by the city of Cannes) from May 17th to 22th. The projection room is totally accessible to people with reduced mobility, and this year, a particular effort was done to make it accessible to visually impaired people by installing the audio description.
The room was equipped with magnetic loop, all movies are french subtitled ; presentations and debates will be simultaneous subtitled, there is audio description available for all movies and an interpreter in LSF (French Sign Language) will translate during the final night.
