Wednesday, May 9th will see the first of many events brought to the Cannes Film Festival by the American Pavilion. The “Industry in Focus: Secrets of the PR Pros” event brings together a panel of top publicists to share their tips and insights into the often-misunderstood world of film publicity.
Panelists will include:
Emma Griffiths, of Emma Griffiths PR (President), with over 20 years of independent film PR experience
Mark Pogachefsky, of MPRM Communications (President), with over 30 years of independent film PR experience, including his work on films from Kiss of the Spiderwoman to Assassination Nation
Hilda Somarriba, of Prism Media Group (Owner), known for her work with Swiss Army Man, The Rider, and First Reformed
The event will begin at 2:30 PM, and followed by a Member Cocktail Party from 6:00 to 8:00 PM.
